Admiral lays keel of first 50m Panorama model

Admiral, the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group (TISG), has laid the keel of its first 50 metre Panorama model. The sale of the first two units was announced in November with Smart Yachts representing the buyer of hull number one.

The design of the new Panorama series, which was presented to the market in September 2022, marks the shipyard's first collaboration with Treviso-based studio Piredda & Partners and offers owners 499GT across four decks.

The Panorama model will feature a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a focus on creating a “natural dialogue” between the interior and exterior by eliminating visual barriers, using high overheads where possible and ensuring plenty of natural light can filter from the outside in.

Accommodation is offered for 12 guests across six cabins comprising four main deck suites and a lower deck VIP that can be converted into a TV room as required. The owner’s suite is found on the upper deck and enjoys an open view on three sides thanks to curved glass, with access to a private bow deck.

Giovanni Costantino, CEO and founder of TISG, said that introducing production models such as the Panorama was a key component of the shipyard's success. He added: "The keel laying is always a significant moment in the construction of a ship, especially if it is the first yacht of a new and innovative line like Admiral Panorama."

He continued: “The confirmation of our position in the Global Order Book rankings as the leading Italian shipyard in the production of yachts over 50 metres further corroborates the Group's place as one of the world's major players thanks to our professionalism and the high-quality profile of our yachts.”

The Panorama series will be built to order. Details regarding the delivery dates of the first and second hulls are yet to be confirmed.
