New Zealand Millenium Cup to feature a Dubois race

The 2015 New Zealand Millennium Cup has announced that the 2015 edition of the event will include a specially dedicated Dubois race day.

The announcement comes after the confirmation of the return of three Dubois entrants, the 39.7 metre Janice of Wyoming, the 36 metre Bliss and reigning champion, the 33 metre Silvertip. Other yachts competing this year include Silencio, Sassafras, Steinlager II and Antaeus.

New Zealand Marine’s CEO, Peter Busfield, comments, “In recognition of the significant number of Dubois-designed superyachts built by New Zealand yards and Ed Dubois’ ongoing stance of support towards the New Zealand industry, the NZMarine Export Group have named one of the 2015 Millenium Cup race days, the ‘Dubois race day.’ Race organisers are delighted Ed will be participating in the 2015 Millenium Cup, sailed for the first time in the picturesque waters of New Zealand’s Bay of Islands.”
