Lürssen's 123m superyacht Tatiana on sea trials

German builder Lürssen Yachts' latest, Project Tatiana, has been spotted on the move as she heads out for sea trials. Lürssen has just confirmed the definitive LOA of superyacht Tatiana with Boat International exclusively as 123.2 metres.

Project Tatiana was launched in mid-March and soon after moved from her shed at Lürssen’s facility in Lemwerder, Germany into a quay for finishing. Lürssen Yachts' hull No 13689, she is constructed with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. But little else is known about Tatiana at this time. It is said that Tatiana is designed by Martin Francis, but the designer has stayed quiet on the topic, and her interior is rumored to be the late Alberto Pinto.

The new photos show more of Tatiana's form, including her curvaceous aft section, seen below, with dual sweeping staircases leading from her swim platform to main deck.

Tatiana’s delivery is scheduled for 2015, and there is a supposition that the owner wants to take delivery of his yacht in time for the 2015 summer cruising season. Presently underway at Lürssen is the new Lürssen 112 metre Palo Alto superyacht project, sold by Moran Yacht & Ship. The Andrew Winch-designed yacht is being built for an experienced client who sought a family oriented yacht. Project Alto is scheduled for delivery in spring 2018. Another Andrew Winch project sold by Moran and being built at Lürssen is 74 metre Project Thor, boasting a huge interior volume. She is due to launch in 2016.
