RM YACHTS TO LAUNCH NEW RM 1070 AT PARIS BOAT SHOW

The latest model from RM Yachts comes with lots of options and a few surprises

Get excited! The Paris Boat Show Kicks off in a little over a week, and we are quite frankly looking forward to the launch of the RM 1070 from RM Yachts. The RM 1070 is an update on the RM 1060 that offers more volume and more style in a similarly sized package.

One new detail on the RM 1070 is the option for two different keel and rudder configurations. Clients can choose between twin keels and a single rudder or a lifting keel and two rudders. Although not wider than its predecessor, the RM 1070 has an extended full beam that allowed the ship’s naval architect, Marc Lombard, to place a double helm at the aft. The gain in volume also created room for a full second cabin.

Keeping the boat fast and durable, the RM 1070 is made entirely from Epoxy Plywood, a material that is also friendlier to the environment. The boat can also be equipped with a carbon mast. Be sure to check out the real thing if you’re heading to the Paris Boat Show!
