It may seem like summer is just beginning, but the fall trade shows are right around the corner, and the Grand Pavois is one of the September trade show staples. Held at the Port des Minimes in La Rochelle France, the Grand Pavois is an international in-water boat show that houses 700 exhibitors over 100,000 square meters of exhibition space. This year, it will be held from September 17th to 22nd, 2014, with almost half of the 700 boats on display being exhibited in the water.

With their rise in popularity, multihulls will be taking over the trade show this year with a dedicated Multihull Space. Between thirty to forty multihulls will be present, including several world previews. The space will also present Yobalema, a Challenge 42 specifically used to provide medical equipment to remote populations in Siné Saloum, Senegal.

Water sports will also play a more central role in the show as they join the main hall. These secondary booths will provide a showcase for the exhibitors, while the beach will serve as a demonstration area for the various SUPs, wake boards and other material on display.

Also new for 2014 is a Digital Tech Center as well as a new and improved Premium Lounge. The Premium Lounge comes with a whole slew of excellent benefits, not least of which are valet parking and champagne.
