Well, it’s kind of a mini-surfboard that attaches to your hand, and according to the experst at Slyde, it lets you create a line of direction while body surfing, allowing you to go longer and farther on the wave.

Their Performance Karbon G6 Handboard is the most technically advanced handboard on the market. Made from carbon fiber, the G6 is made to go fast. While we’re sort of partial to the wooden aesthetic of the other models, you can’t argue with the incomparable strength and low weight ratio that carbon fiber provides. Plus, it’s pretty sleek.
