The latest from Italian shipyard Cantiere del Pardo, the Grand Soleil 47 is the result of advanced fluid dynamics research and the expertise of America’s Cup designer Marcelino Botin. Clutter has been almost eliminated with completely flush decks, wide gunwales, recessed sheets and hidden lines that create a practical yet aesthetic exterior. Streamlined and modern, the hull is laminated through a vacuum-bag infusion process with an internal grid pan made of a composite carbon and glass fibre for a light, rigid hull. The T-shaped keel lowers the center of gravity, increasing the safety and performance of the vessel. The interior is modern and luminous with exceptional storage space and a large chart table.
