PASTROVICH STUDIO PRESENTS THE 55M X-EASY YACHT CONCEPT

A luxury yacht design that aims to make life at sea a bit easier

While some might argue that pleasure cruising is inherently enjoyable, the 55m X-Easy luxury yacht concept intends to make it even more so. Monaco-based Pastrovich Studio designed the yacht as a hub of fun and relaxation that requires minimal crew for a more intimate experience. It is part of the studio’s experimental XProject series.

The X-Easy is conceived to be powered by a diesel-electric engine, making it the ideal jumping off point for water sports. Indeed, the yacht is designed to accommodate a large variety of yacht toys such as jet-skis, stand up paddle boards, small sailboats and a jellyfish pool. All of which are stored in a dedicated space under the main deck.

A “beach house atmosphere” reigns throughout the interior with the use of natural materials like bamboo, teak and stone. Made to be adaptable, the interior is voluminous and open with loose furniture that allows for a variety of adaptations to the space. An exceptionally large open stern area serves as a social gathering point and sundeck while offering direct access to the water. In contrast, the bow’s furnished terrace provides a quieter place to dine.

The X-Easy is designed to be easy to construct and easy to run. The entire yacht can function with only nine crew members, which lowers running costs. For the moment, no technical specifications are available for the concept, but it will be interesting to see if the fancy can come to fruition.
