Mooring buoy launch

Spanish navaids specialist Almarin has launched a new range of mooring buoys. These are designed for mooring vessels, as well as for containment booms and supporting floating cages used in aquaculture.

The buoys are manufactured with a galvanized steel structure with a safe working load (SWL) of 12.000kg and a foam filled rotomoulded polyethylene hull. There are four available hulls with standard diameters of 1250mm and 1600mm and volumes between 700 and 2500 litres. Each model is available with four mooring designs.

Almarin, based in Barcelona, is part of the Lindley Group, which has 85 years of experience in the port, maritime and industrial areas.
