Billy Smith rejoins Trinity Yachts as new COO

Following the recent acquirement of Trinity Yachts and it’s partner shipyards by Harvey Gulf International Marine, comes the news that previous VP of sales and marketing at Trinity Yachts, BIlly Smith, has rejoined the American shipyard in New Orleans as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Smith’s initial departure from the company came following the purchase of the shipyard by Harvey Gulf last month, which led to the elimination of his previous position. Now, as COO, Smith has rejoined the company again, a development which Shane Guidry, president and CEO of Harvey Gulf is clearly pleased about, “One of the most respected professionals in the superyacht industry, Billy brings an institutional knowledge of Trinity and a strong relationship with Harvey Gulf, as well as deep connections with national and international clients.
