MID-WEEK MOTIVATION: RECORD-BREAKING KITE SURF RUN

Congratulations, you've made it halfway through the week. Here's a little something to get you to the other side.

On November 11th, 2013, Alexandre Caizergues shattered the kitesurfing record in the Camargues, France, during the third edition of Salt & Speed. He surfed 500 meters with a speed of 56.62 knots, beating the record held by American kitesurfer Rob Douglas by .97 knots. Christophe Simian of the World Sailing Speed Record Council was on site, but the record is waiting for official validation from the organization.
