A FIRST GLANCE AT THE BRAND NEW ALLURES 52

The French aluminum yacht is made for comfortable long-distance cruising

She is a beauty, no doubt: the Allures 52 is the new flagship of French boat yard Allures Yachting. Following on the heels of the Allures 45, this cruising yacht, with its aluminum hull, is the biggest yacht of the high class bluewater series built in Cherbourg. Combining performance and comfort, the Allures 52 is designed for long distance cruising without compromise.

The 15.5-meter sailing yacht (waterline) had just had its world premiere at the Yachting Festival in Cannes. The design by Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design offers, as known from Allures Yachting, variable draft from 1.23 to an enormous 3.10 meters thanks to a lifting keel concept. Overall ballast is slightly higher than one third of the overall boat displacement which is indicated with almost 17 tons when empty.

The Allures 52 will be available in an “Ocean” and ”Horizon” version with differences regarding the interior layout. Both options feature a spacious salon with a lateral pantry and two aft cabins. However, the owners cabin in the bow is variable: owners can choose between a huge central bed with ample heads and showers or a lateral double bed with a smaller toilet.
