Romanza beats Volvo 65 to win Auckland-Tauranga Centennial, 2021

Romanza, a Rapido 60, wins both line honours and on corrected time over Volvo 65.

Owner of Rapido 60, Romanza, Dougall Love, has just sent through this incredible news on taking Line Honours in New Zealand’s Auckland Tauranga Centennial Race 2021, held on 27 March 2021 with an elapsed time of 10 hours, 42 minutes and 46 secs. Competitors even included the formidable Volvo 65, New Zealand Ocean Racing Team (nearly 6 minutes behind in 10:48:05)!
