New Scorpion Silurian Revealed at Monaco

The new Scorpion SILURIAN is set to revolutionise the chase boat market and will make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this week on Stand #TS4.

The Scorpion SILURIAN is the latest model from the Scorpion development programme, based on Scorpion’s renowned high performance hull, providing all the benefits you expect of a Scorpion - great handling, comfortable dry ride and good all-round performance, but now with more space and greater passenger capacity.

Launching at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Scorpion SILURIAN on show has a twin-stepped hull, twin outboards and Scorpion’s extended transom for improved efficiency and safety. The SILURIAN continues Scorpions sustainability path building ultra-efficient hulls for better performance.

Available in outboard, inboard or water-jet versions, the SILURIAN has a range of seating options, as well as the choice between stepped or non-stepped hulls, with the steps designed by the leading expert Lorne Campbell.

Staying true to the company’s ethos of safety and comfort, which has been proven over hundreds of thousands of sea miles. The new SILURIAN sets new standards in stability with the CE test proving she is one of the most secure RIB’s in the world, maintaining its stability at over 90o.

Scorpions are well suited to towing over long distances, making them ideal chase boats. Captains with Scorpion chase boats have been impressed how it has improved their working life. Our new, bigger RIB can only enhance that, giving guests much greater freedom and flexibility, away from the mother ship.

As one Captain reported, “the first season we had the Scorpion, all our guests rebooked before the season was over; it really improves the guest experience”.
