New hovercraft for Saint-Petersburg emergency service

The emergency service of St. Petersburg acquired a fire-fighting/ambulance boat on air cushion A20. The hovercraft with easily dismountable fire-fighting and ambulance containers is designed for year-round operation on rivers, lakes and coastal sea waters. It is able to move in shallow waters, swamps, over broken ice and deep snow.

The vessel is equipped with YAMZ-536 diesel engine (312 h.p.). Max speed on water - 80 km/h.

The passenger version of the craft can carry 18 people.
