Marine turbochargers on stock

The main difference between a marine turbocharger and an automotive turbocharger is the refrigeration system. Most of the car turbochargers are refrigerated only by air, in a land transport vehicle, the engine has a fast and continuous current of fresh air, this is due to the high speed of the vehicle and also the position of the engine (in the front of the automobile). In ships, the engines are placed in small chambers where there is no air circulation. So the marine turbocharger is refrigerated by fresh water or coolant.
