The new SUNBEAM 40.1 is the result of a continous development of the SUNBEAM portfolio. Once more the slovenian designer J&J is the partner in this poject. The design and styling of the SUNBEAM 40.1 is matching the new SUNBEAM range with classic and modern hull lines and a sporty and elegant deck design.

For the first time SUNBEAM Yachts is building an aft cockpit yacht. The Cockpit is huge and has easy access over stern. Furthermore the new SUNBEAM 40.1 has a twin wheel steering system with safe and protected helm positions. Halyards, mainsheet and controls line led below deck to cockpit for an easy handling. Main sheet and Genua winches are well positioned to enable the helm to handle them while steering. Double sided mainsheet is standard, a self-tacking jib optional.

The SUNBEAM 40.1 comes with a folding bathing platform including a folding ladder. Teak on the platform is standard as well as teak in the cockpit.

In addition to that the new SUNBEAM 40.1 offers a large sundeck aft of the helm with large locker below. Moreover some lockers under the cockpit bench seats provide ample of storage space for long periods on board.

The interior layout is modern and airy. Basically there are two options to choose. A three cabin- and a two cabin-version. The forecabin could be ordered with a central bed or with a V-berth and heads combined with a shower compartment. The aftcabins could be designed as double aftcabins or one aftcabin to port with a huge walk in locker/store room to starboard. Furthermore the L-galley is well designed and leaves nothing to be desired.
