Temano® buoys are in the Arctic!
Temano supplies the Norwegian Meteorological Institute with mooring buoys as part of the IWIN project.
At the end of 2024, Temano® 150L buoys were deployed in the Norwegian fjords of Isfjorden to help observe the oceans.
Equipped with scientific instruments, these buoys measure wave heights and temperature variations. They form part of a meteorological monitoring network to meet the challenges of climate change.
Their non-foamed (hollow) structure enables scientific equipment to be integrated into watertight compartments, offering a robust and reliable solution for extreme environments.
A major step forward for science and the environment!
