Roscanvel, an exemplary commitment to protecting maerl!
Since 2021, the commune of Roscanvel has entrusted us with the replacement of its low-impact moorings, even before it obtained aid to preserve maerl, the precious Breton coral.
This project was carried out in partnership with the Office Français de la Biodiversité (OFB), which provided significant financial support.
The entire harbor installations were redesigned: anchors, lines, buoys... everything was replaced! Each year, we have continued to improve and optimize these systems to guarantee better protection of the marine environment (see photos).
Today, we are completing the installation of the last lines. A huge thank you to Roscanvel for its trust and commitment to a more sustainable coastline!
