TRELLEBORG launches new Emergency Shutdown System at Kormarine

Trelleborg’s marine systems operation will be demonstrating its new Integrated Ship Shore Link (SSL) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESDS) for the marine LNG industry at Kormarine at the BEXCO (Busan Exhibition & Convention Center) in Busan, Korea from the 20th to 23rd October.

Richard Hepworth, President of Trelleborg’s marine systems operation, says: “We have a major center in Busan supporting all of our Oil and Gas Transfer and Vessel Technology products, so it’s great to be able to attend such a large and prestigious international show, locally.

“Representatives from our Busan office, and from the wider business, will be on stand to meet attendees and discuss the latest developments in the Korean market, as well as our experiences in the LNG industry globally.”

Kormarine covers international marine, shipbuilding, offshore and oil and gas industries. As well as the new integrated ESDS/SSL system, Trelleborg will also be showcasing its ship performance technology and discussing the company’s Worldwide Service capability.

With an unrivalled track record spanning decades of service to the port and harbour, marine, offshore and shipbuilding industries, Trelleborg’s marine systems operation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced Marine Fenders, Oil & Gas Transfer, Ship Performance, Docking & Mooring, Surface Buoyancy and Service and Support.
