Segeln Anchor Test From 2006
Segeln Anchor Test From 2006
ULTRA Anchor's first anchor test appearance was in 2006 at Segeln magazine's anchor test. ULTRA received 5 stars with a comment: "The anchor would win any designer prize."
Even more direct was the second spade anchor, the ULTRA. The Turkish design of highly polished stainless steel, which would look very attractive in any showcase, bored itself with the point bent downwards directly at the place of the first touch of the floor, deep into the bottom.
Other anchor forms have no real problems with this “harder sand”. Only the MAnchor (BRUCE) showed it did not like the hard bottom and slipped over 9m, while the ULTRA
stopped at 5m. This was confirmed with the tests on the beach where it could be seen.
The spade anchors, SPADE and ULTRA, showed no weak point. On each floor they stopped after a few metres, the tractor could not break 800kg.
