These past days Zig Zag has been sailing in the bay of Hyères, demonstrating her performance under sail. The Windelo 54 Yachting sailed downwind between 15 to 20 knots in force 5 to 6, and she also sailed well upwind, matching wind speeds in as low as a force 1-2. This versatility to either go fast or hoist the sails already in a very light breeze is what makes this performance bluewater cat so appealing! Zig Zag is only 12,8 tons, lightweight for a 54-footer; she boasts 267 m² of sail area downwind and 144m² upwind.
