Directeck obtains FSC® certification
To mark its 20th anniversary, Directeck has obtained FSC® certification, representing a new milestone in its commitment to traceability.
20 years of expertise supporting every project
Based in Aubière, in the Auvergne region of France, Directeck began its activity by specialising in teak, widely used for boat decks in both new-build and refit projects.
Over the years, the company has continued to evolve, adapting to new regulations, particularly the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), while implementing increasingly robust traceability procedures.
Obtaining FSC® certification marks an important step in this process. With future supplies, the company will be able to offer part of its teak range as FSC®-certified timber, sourced from responsibly managed forests in accordance with strict environmental, social and economic standards.
Directeck aims to gradually increase the proportion of certified timber within its sourcing strategy, further strengthening its commitment to more sustainable practices. This development contributes to a more transparent timber trade and greater respect for forest resources.
A comprehensive offering for professionals and private customers
Over time, Directeck has expanded its range well beyond timber. Today, its portfolio includes epoxy resin systems such as WEST SYSTEM, PRO-SET and ENTROPY RESINS for construction, repair and demanding technical applications, as well as Coosa and Duflex composite panels, maintenance products and more.
The company now offers a comprehensive range designed to meet the requirements of boatyards, craftsmen and designers, as well as private customers who are passionate about boating or DIY projects.
Whatever their level of expertise, customers benefit from personalised advice and technical solutions tailored to their specific projects.
An anniversary focused on the challenges of tomorrow
This 20th anniversary represents an important milestone in Directeck’s history. The company would like to thank all of its partners, loyal customers, suppliers and employees who have supported its development over the years.
Building on its experience, Directeck intends to continue growing while combining performance, quality and responsibility.
FSC® certification reinforces the company’s commitment to a more sustainable approach, serving both its customers and the environment, with the ambition of progressively increasing the share of certified timber in its future supplies.
