nke Wifi Box : WiFi data from nke Bus in NMEA 0183 format

The Box WiFi nke can multiplex bus data and NMEA data to wireless devices such as smartphones, tablets and PC. It is equipped with a NMEA 0183 wired I/O and wireless output.

NMEA output makes Topline bus data available on a WiFi connection, and the received data (such as AIS) into NMEA 0183 standard data. It enables smartphones, tablets touch and computers to get sailing instrument and AIS data by wireless.

This NMEA output also has a RS 232 and 422 wired connection included for use with an onboard navigation system.The NMEA WiFi interface recognizes input frames from an AIS receiver or NMEA 0183 source. It receives data such as bearing and distance to waypoint, cross track error for the pilot, and polar data from external third party software.
