Prolock Omega in Kazakhstan

To prevent wave action and soil erosion from the Caspian Sea, a ten kilometer long Prolock sheet pile/windbreak has been installed along a new road between two oil platforms in Tengiz Kazakhstan.

This project was prepared by Witteveen en Bos and executed by a Kazakh contractor. The light gray Prolock Omega screens are 4.50 meters high and the tubular piles 9.00 meters long. The project was carried out from March 2018 to July 2018.
