M500/3S offshore telescopic crane for Dudgeon Offshore substation platform successful tested

The crane is to be installed on the topside substation platform which is part of the Dudgeon offshore wind farm project.

Certified by LRS and designed according EN 13852:1 norms, the crane will have an SWL of 5 tons at 21 meters, 1 ton at 30 m (static) and 5 tons @ 10 meters, 2 tons @ 21 meters with 2 meters of significant wave high. NEW: ship crane by Sormec

Sormec A-Frames are designed to perform offshore load handling (plough deployment), subsea load handling (anchor handling) and launch and recovery of special tools and equipment. Sormec designs a-frames both in electro-hydraulic and electrically–driven versions with a lifting capacity calculated according to customers needs.

The crane structure is manufactured with steel plates, pipes duly shaped and electro. The support vertical legs are built in electro welded steel sheets and fitted with a hydraulic cylinders for lifting. The winch is founded on one of the A-frame’s deck foundation brackets and it is designed for lifting operations offshore.

New order for one offshore M350/3S telescopic crane on Veja Mate Platform in North Sea
